About Mendip Funding Solutions

Liane Livingstone founded Mendip Funding Solutions in 2025, when she noticed business leaders and entrepreneurs in the South West struggling to navigate the lending market or feeling trapped by their incumbent lender, not knowing who else to turn to for help.

Liane has always worked in the South West, remaining in Bristol after her Economics degree. She joined Ernst & Young as a tax adviser, transitioning to corporate banking at Barclays shortly after the 2008 financial crisis.

Liane gained further banking experience at HSBC as a Relationship Director for larger international businesses and as a Client Director for Global Trade and Receivables Finance. She later became a Debt Advisory Director at a top 10 global accountancy firm.

Utilising her lending experience and vast network, Liane enjoys helping business leaders and entrepreneurs to achieve their goals by marrying together borrowers and lenders.

Now living in the Mendip Hills, near Bath and Bristol, she leads an active life with her husband, children, dog, and chickens.
